Alibi

Alibi-
Alibi is a Latin word meaning “else where”. It should be pleaded at the earliest opportunity. Alibi should cover the time of the alleged offence. In proving his alibi the accused should not be required to prove the exact time or every moment of time involves in order sustaining his defense. It is sufficient for him to raise a reasonable doubt of his presence at the scene of the crime at the time that it was committed.
